Welcome to the Sea Glass Inn Bed & Breakfast, located in the heart of historic Melbourne Beach — one of Florida’s earliest and most charming barrier island towns.

We are Patricia and Dean La Gala, and it is truly our joy to welcome you to this special place. We are both first-generation Americans — Patricia’s family from Germany and Dean’s from Italy — raised here in Florida. We met in Gainesville (Go Gators!) and began our life together in Boca Raton, where our two children, Reef and Sage, were born.

Dean has been surfing these beaches for more than 35 years and has always known how special this stretch of coastline is — nestled between the Atlantic Ocean and the Indian River Lagoon. Over 15 years ago, we chose Melbourne Beach as the perfect place to raise our family. Now, with our children grown and pursuing their own paths, we felt it was the right time to begin a new chapter centered around hospitality, connection, and sharing this remarkable coastal community.

The Sea Glass Inn is more than a destination — it is your home away from home, and we are honored to open it to you.
